Member Criteria

The Shea Group is a senior level networking organization with membership by invitation only. Group membership is comprised of executives, who are at the "C-Level" level or who report to "C-Level" executives, or hold such titles as Director or Division Head of a significant organization, and have at least 15-20+ years of work experience.

An existing Shea Group member must nominate a candidate for membership. The Membership Committee determines the candidate's level of interest and compatibility with the Group's purpose. The members of the committee make recommendations to the group as a whole.

The Shea Group expects all members to give more than they take, both to each other and to the communityat large. There are several key conditions to membership including:

• Each member agrees to meet with all the other members through a series of one-on-one meetings which are considered an integral and on-going responsibility
• Members wll be active, attending a least 50% of the group's bi-weekly meetings.
• Each member will be active on at least one of the group's standing committees.
• Members will work constructively to identify and invite interesting and relevant speakers.
